Workshop Supports Performance Improvement for HIV Care Providers in Costa Rica Print

A workshop facilitated by the Capacity Project on August 2 in Costa Rica resulted in approved performance standards for Social Security officers and health providers from Alajuela, Mujer and Cartago Hospitals.

Later this month a performance baseline assessment will be implemented at the three secondary-level hospitals, which are due to begin providing fully decentralized HIV services by January.

This activity supports the Project’s objective to improve performance and supervision systems for HIV service providers in selected facilities in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama.
