Family Planning Providers Become FP Trainers in Rwanda Print

In partnership with the Twubakane Program and UNFPA, the Capacity Project completed the second of three rounds of “training of trainers” in family planning (FP) in Rwanda, April 30-May 25.

Twenty-nine providers with substantial clinical experience in FP and the capacity to be trainers learned about FP methods, counseling skills and conducting clinical trainings.

After the third round, 75 trainers representing all 30 districts will be equipped to train other providers, furthering the Project’s objective to expand provision of clinical FP services.
