Learning for Performance Approach Informs Nursing Curriculum in Mali Print

Recently translated into French, the Capacity Project’s Learning for Performance: A Guide and Toolkit for Health Worker Training and Education Programs is being used to finalize family planning/reproductive health and child health modules for the nursing school curriculum at Ecole des Infirmiers de Gao.

The school plays a vital role in training health workers to serve Mali’s northern zone. Officials from the Ministry of Health and the national health institute are participating in the process with an eye toward using the Learning for Performance approach for national-level curriculum revision.
