The Capacity Project’s Dykki Settle is certified as an “enterprise architect†after completing an invitational training course offered by WHO’s Health Metrics Network secretariat.
Enterprise architecture refers to the way an information system is organized, the relationship of its data components and the principles governing its design and evolution. This training will contribute to the Project’s HR information systems strengthening process and help the Project to integrate its work with broader health information system (HIS) strengthening activities.
“Enterprise architecture is an important part of bringing comprehensive planning and discipline to health systems strengthening,†said Mark Landry, OGAC senior informatics specialist and lead for the PEPFAR HMIS Technical Working Group. “As far as I know, Dykki’s certification makes him the first certified enterprise architect among any of the USAID CAs.â€
