Capacity Project staff recently completed an evaluation of the second round of on-the-job training in family planning services in four districts.
The Project-supported seven-week training session was designed to ensure the availability and accessibility of family planning methods by easing issues related to staff turnover and retention.
In total, 159 health workers from Musanze, Ngororero, Nyanza and Huye districts participated in the final evaluation on December 19. Of those, approximately 93% (149 trainees) graded out successfully in evaluations. A report of the results is forthcoming.
