The Capacity Project recently updated its human resources information systems (HRIS) software—the iHRIS Suite—with new tools to support translation into multiple languages.

Through the software hosting site, Launchpad, the Capacity Project’s HRIS team made a call for volunteers to translate the software user interface into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili and other languages. Volunteers have already started translating sections of the software into several languages, including French and Spanish.

The team can track the progress through Launchpad. The Capacity Project expects to release multilingual versions of all three software products—iHRIS Manage, Qualify and Plan—in June.
