The Capacity Project, in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA), conducted a workshop on the HRH Action Framework as a part of the PAHO IX Regional Meeting of the Observatories of Human Resources for Health in Santiago, Chile.

From November 4-6, 25 HRH planners and decision-makers from ten countries and WHO/Geneva discussed how the HRH Action Framework could facilitate planning and implementation of key activities within their countries. The workshop furthered the efforts of the Capacity Project, PAHO and GHWA to bring the HRH Action Framework to the countries of the Americas.

Recently translated into Spanish, the HRH Action Framework can operate as a common tool and approach as all countries in the region focus on achieving a set of shared HRH goals.
