Capacity Project Promotes Male Involvement in Family Health in Rwanda |
Following up on a study of male involvement in family planning, reproductive health and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, the Capacity Project/Rwanda developed messages to help sensitize men to improve their role in the health care process for the entire family.
Capacity Project staff recently worked in seven Project-supported health facilities to integrate these messages into existing information, education and communication materials.
Going forward, the Capacity Project’s Family Planning and Maternal and Child Health Teams will disseminate these materials to all Project-supported health facilities in Rwanda.
