Task Force Addresses HRH Implications of Universal Access |

On October 3, the Capacity Project’s Jim McCaffery participated in the Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA) Task Force Coordination Meeting.
The GHWA’s six task forces shared their experiences and identified areas of overlap that should be coordinated. The Capacity Project supports the activities of the GHWA Task Force on Human Resources for Health (HRH) Implications of Scaling-up Universal Access.
Recently the Project prepared a literature review as a critical step toward the first objective of gathering evidence on HRH implications and gaps as they relate to scaling up universal access. This task force has received PEPFAR funding, which will help to achieve the additional objectives of developing priority and integrated HRH recommendations for universal access, documenting lessons learned and reaching agreement on global recommendations.
