|
The Capacity Project/Namibia recently conducted a workshop to introduce, familiarize and train six new grant partners.
The Project welcomed the addition of the Namibia Red Cross Society, Development Aid from People to People, Catholic Aids Action, the Walvis Bay Multi-Purpose Center, Democratic Resettlement Community VCT Center and the Evangelical Lutheran Church Aids Program.
In addition, the workshop provided a forum for input from directors, financial officers and program focal persons from 12 Capacity Project partner organizations across Namibia, as well as center managers from the 17 voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) centers currently under the Project’s management. Aside from providing an overview of the Project’s organization and achievements, the workshop served to train new partners in monthly accounting and financial reporting procedures, VCT operations, monitoring and evaluation activities and procurement and branding requirements.
