The Capacity Project organized a consensus-to-action workshop in Tanzania, March 29-30, focused on removing hiring bottlenecks and improving health worker productivity.
The workshop brought together high-level government officials who are positioned to influence and implement change in HR policy, systems and practices.
Participants helped to refine recommendations from recent studies on hiring, retention and productivity and agreed to advocate for most of the suggested actions.
