Alleviating the Burden of Responsibility: Report on a Study of Men as Providers of Community-Based HIV/AIDS Care and Support in Lesotho
January 2009. This study demonstrates a range of perspectives about gender and HIV/AIDS care from those participating in and potentially affected by health care initiatives, and makes recommendations for increasing the number of male community-based providers of HIV/AIDS care.
Study on Workplace Violence within the Health Sector in Rwanda
July 2008. This qualitative study investigated the different types of workplace violence within the Rwandan health sector, the perpetrators, the victims, the consequences, the gender dimensions involved and the strategies to prevent violence. The report also provides recommendations for development of appropriate laws to help prevent workplace violence.
HRH Action Workshop Assessment
July 2008. This report assesses the workshop's influence on subsequent country-level HRH activities, and found that a combination of the workshop methodology and the right participants led to notable HRH action in several countries.
